beautiful eyes (Contest entry)

Mela and Leia chatting in a bar when suddenly, when Leia tried to say something, no sound came out of her mouth, the same happened to Mela. Confused, they looked around and spotted a black-haired woman, who was apparently followed by a bunch of rats, and was wearing a dark creepy dress. Her eyes caused intimidation in Leia, Mela didn't feel anything (living a lifetime alongside a demon has dried all signal of fear on her) but still she had a bad feeling about this woman. As the misterious woman took a seat near them, both Mela and Leia went as far as they could from her.

Nothing was heard around her, nothing, as if they were inside a TV and the watcher decided to turn off the volume. When the misterious woman was having a drink of vodka, suddenly, some steps were heard from behind...

"Wait... what?!" she thought "Am I really... hearing something" the heavy steps were heard closer and closer, and while nothing else was heard the steps were heard in a louder noise than normal. She finally heard someone taking a seat just besides her, the next thing was a deep voice...

"Is it okay if I seat here?" he said.

She said nothing, the only thing in her head was "IS HE TALKING TO ME?!!"

"I'll take that as yes" he said "bartender, could you please bring me a drink of bourbon?" he said. The bartender just shook his head saying no repeatly, waved his hands like if there was no tomorrow, and then pointed to the woman trying to warn him about her.

"What's wrong with you? Did the cat get your tongue or what?" he said huskily, he then turned to her.

"Do you know what's wrong with him?" he asked, she said nothing. "Well... I'll get it myself then" she heard how he stood up, went where the drinks were kept, and got out a bourbon. She would normally prefer silence, but it was interesting that someone could just make noise around her, specially that close to her. She wasn't sure if she was getting annoyed when the man sitted back besides her.

"So..." he said while serving himself the bourbon "what's a girl like you doing in a bar like this?" she didn't answered, she was too busy trying to figure out how was she even hearing to him. "You don't talk much, do you?"

"how are you doing it?" she finally asked, she hasn't turn to him yet, her back was on him. "Doing what?" he asked in response.
"You know... make noise" she answered "um... I don't really know, scientificly speaking" he said "but I'd say that it's because I want to""I'm serious, you are not supposed to just... make noise around me just because you want to" she scolded him, still without turning "I'm sorry, but I can't really explain it better"

She felt uneasy around that guy, who was him? What kind of magic is he using to repel hers? She eventually felt uncomfortable.

"Can you please go away?" she asked "Why? we just met, and I just heard you talk" he responded "And to be honest... I feel a little attracted to you" she blushed, why did she blushed?! She never blushed! He will officially have to go away or else...

"I'm warning you! Just go!" she said loudly "C'mon, lets talk a bit more! It has been a long time since I calmly talked to somebody, at least let me see your face" with an annoyed sigh, she turned around ready to make that guy just disappear of nowhere when...

What she saw was a handsome man, maybe bettween 30-40s, with white hair and a spanish like beard, he was using a labcoat with a logo saying USEP in a pocket in his chest, he was too using a pair of big lens. But what attracted her attention was his dark red eyes, just like her, looking at hers.

"Oh my..." he said "May I say that you have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen?" she blushed even more, goddamnit, WHO IS THIS GUY?!!

"um... well... I..." she stuttered "you seem surprised" he said "you see, I too have some details that make me different from other people..."

Meanwhile, Mela and Leia were communicating by messages on the cellphone, Leia asked "How can he actually talk to her and we can't?!" "'Paranormal being' tells you something" Mela answered, and as response Leia wrote "Ooooohh..."

I swear I'm going to color this later!! but just wanted to submit already for contest. Alongside with a little story that just popped up in my head while drawing this.
